VAT, insurance, breakdown cover and car parking are included as std. We also have many extras included in your booking price from camping chairs to garden sports games. These are all available at no extra charge remember, the price you see is the price you pay!
A std licence will enable you to drive the vehicle if you are over 25 yrs old. 1 std single speeding fine means you are still ok to hire. If you have other endorsements, it’s best to call us.
If you cancel with at least 16 weeks notice you will be able to move your deposit to another date. if you cancel between 16 weeks – 6 weeks prior your deposit is none refundable. Cancellations after the 6 week full payment deadline, result in deposit being lost, and full payment being required. We recommend that you take out travel insurance with adequate cover, at the time of booking.
Yes a std uk car seat will fit with no issues.
Pick up is from 11am and return is by 11am, unless prior arrangement has been made. Failure to return the vehicle on time will result in a full or part extra day charge.
Yes there is an excess to the policy. in the event of an accident the excess will be taken from your security deposit, or taken at a later date if greater than the deposit. Full details are in the t&c’s
We charge a security deposit which varies in value, full details of this are in the terms and conditions. Upon return of the vehicle the hirer and one of valley motorhome hires staff will inspect the vehicle and immediately return the deposit if all is well with the vehicle.
Yes you may. A small insurance charge is due though for travel out of the uk.
Yes you may, it is your job to ensure your space on the ferry is adequate and other necessities for travel abroad are in line with travel requirements.
You pick up your vehicle from Bath, Somerset all details of collection points are emailed to you. We have 2 collection points both with car parking for your vehicle. Both are in or close to the Bath, Somerset.
You must settle the balance 6 weeks prior to your travel date, prior to this a 20% deposit is required. If booking less than 6 weeks before you travel, the full hire payment must be made. Failure to pay your balance in full by 4 weeks before travel will mean your booking is lost and your deposit lost also.
You may take your dog, a separate t&c document must be signed and small fee paid
We do allow motorhomes to be taken to festivals, there is however a larger security deposit taken for these bookings.
On return day you must, safely dispose of grey water and empty toilet cassette, clean away all waste and rubbish and ensure the vehicle is as close as possible to the state you picked it up in. Vehicle must be ready to return to valley motorhomes by 11am. Please note, there is no rubbish disposal facility at return/pick up point, or grey water emptying facility. This should be done prior to return.
Our motorhome is great for winter hire! It is fully insulated and has central heating as std.
